ESSA Passes the Senate

The ESSA Will Become Law January 1, 2016

It’s a new ballgame in American education.

The “Every Student Succeeds Act” Compromise Bill has just passed the Senate, clearing the path to Pennsylvania Avenue, where President Obama is expected to sign it.

The ESSA, also knows as the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), originally passed under Lyndon Johnson.
